CANA Foundation

The California Association of Nurse Anesthetists Foundation (CANA Foundation) is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation with a mission to improve the knowledge and expertise of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and students of Nurse Anesthesia concerning anesthesia practice including, but not limited to, research, publications, workshops, lectures and otherwise contributing to improving quality health care of persons undergoing anesthesia.

The CANA Foundation was established in 2004 as a 501(c)(3) corporation operated exclusively for charitable purposes with a strong affiliation to the California Association of Nurse Anesthesiology and its membership. The Foundation’s goal is to provide a tax-deductible opportunity for donations and grants from individuals and other funding sources. The Foundation works to assure the future success of Nurse Anesthetists and Nurse Anesthetists in training in the state of California.
